I have worked as a nurse practitioner for the medical center since 2012. I worked at The James on an inpatient medical oncology unit before transitioning to family medicine in 2013. I am interested in wellness, health promotion, and women's health. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is patient education. I love empowering patients with knowledge and tools to manage their health. In my free time, I love to exercise. I incorporate different types of exercise that allow for fitness including HIIT (high-intensity interval training) training, weight lifting, dance, and more. I truly believe that exercise is medicine. I also enjoy traveling around the world and experiencing different cultures.
